About Merjury Clavadetscher…

Merjury is a dedicated and experienced care home manager with a passion for providing the best quality care. With 16 years of experience in the care industry, Merjury has developed a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of residents.

Having been with the home for two years, Merjury started as a senior and quickly progressed to the role of team manager. With the support of an exceptional team, Merjury then became the deputy manager and is now proudly serving as the home manager of Ardtully care home.

For Merjury, Ardtully is not just a workplace, but a home. The residents have become an extended family and the care home is a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels like they belong. Merjury firmly believes in the concept of “home to home” – where residents are embraced as part of the family.

Her goal is to ensure that every resident receives the highest quality of care and feels happy and content in their home. Alongside this, Merjury also prioritises the well-being of the care team, creating a positive and supportive work environment.

Merjury’s favorite motto is “let your smile change the world but don’t let the world change your smile.” This reflects her positive and optimistic outlook on life and the belief that a simple smile can make a significant difference in the lives of others. With Merjury and the care team at the helm, Ardtully is in compassionate and capable hands, committed to creating a joyful and fulfilling experience for both residents and staff.

Care Home - Family At The Heart Of Ardtully - Ardtully Care Home

Family at the Heart of Ardtully

At Ardtully, family involvement is central to everything we do. We believe in open visitation, where relatives are welcome at any time, creating a genuinely homely environment where residents can stay connected.

We make sure families are informed about every aspect of their loved one’s care, from medication changes to care plan updates. Regular meetings and open communication help us deliver responsive, tailored support, creating a nurturing care home environment that makes everyone feel part of our close-knit community.

Exceptional Care

Our care team is the foundation of our high-quality care. Every staff member undergoes a thorough selection and specialist training, including qualifications in dementia and palliative care, to ensure they deliver the best possible care with compassion and expertise.

Our low staff turnover means we can support residents with familiar faces who genuinely care. Ongoing training programs, including NHS-supported courses, keep our team up-to-date with the latest techniques. This commitment to professional development and personal connection ensures that every resident enjoys attentive care in a warm and supportive environment.
