A Special Visit from Alex Burghart MP

We were delighted to welcome Alex Burghart MP to Ardtully Care Home last week for a very special visit with our residents.

Over a relaxed afternoon tea, Mr. Burghart spent time chatting with everyone, listening to their stories, and sharing thoughtful conversation. Our residents had prepared a range of questions on both local and national issues, which he kindly addressed in detail. This sparked lively discussion, genuine connection, and plenty of smiles all around.

We were especially grateful for his attention to concerns about uneven pavements and speeding along Roman Road, important matters that affect our community every day. Mr. Burghart assured us he would take these concerns forward, and we truly appreciate his support.

It was a lovely afternoon filled with warmth, conversation, and community spirit. A sincere thank you to Mr. Burghart for taking time out of his busy schedule to be with us, we look forward to welcoming him again soon.
